The Field Robot Event is an annual and international open-air field robot contest, where students and professionals compete in a hands-on learning agricultural field domain. The vision of the Field Robot Event is to present the future of precision agriculture and horticulture.

The Field Robot Event 2011 is held in connection with The National Agricultural Show in Denmark and the International conference on Automation and System Technology in Plant Production.

The National Agricultural Show
Is the largest agricultural show in Northern Europe for the professional farmer as well as people with interest in agriculture. In 2009 more than 40.000 people visited the event during the three days. A wide range of animals and agricultural machinery is presented at the exhibition accompanied with various demonstrations and shows.

International conference on Automation & System Technology in Plant Production
Deals with the following topics: Robotics and automated vehicles, Automation system and concepts, Information and communication system design and Advanced operations management.
